We hope you are enjoying these late last days of summer. We have some exciting opportunities on the horizon over here at the Etsy Labs.
Call for Teachers
The Etsy Labs is currently looking for crafty, outgoing people to lead upcoming craft nights. Craft Night is a free, weekly event held every Monday from 4-8pm at the Etsy Labs. All Craft Nights are also broadcast live into the Virtual Labs, with demos of the project also directed to the online participants.
Attendees can show up any time between 4-8pm, so a fairly straight-forward project that can easily be explained to guests as they arrive, is best suited to Craft Night. Past craft night projects have included glass etching, various bookmaking techniques, potato printing, melt & pour lip balm, applique,... It's always a fun time. (More info about past craft nights here.)
So, if you or anyone you know would like to lead a Monday craft night, please email email@example.com with "Craft Night Application" as the subject line.
For our Monday, September 8 Craft Night, we will be making instant books at the Etsy Labs in Brooklyn! If you have a bone folder, bring that along too. All other tools and supplies will be provided by the Etsy Labs. Not in Brooklyn? Join us in the Treehouse room of the Virtual Labs at 5pm EDT.
